لم تبدأ حكايته مع لوح شمسي. بدأت بفكرة أبسط وأصعب: أن تُبنى صناعة تستطيع أن تستمر. His story did not begin with a solar panel. It began with a harder idea: build industry that can endure.
في عام 1976 بدأت الرحلة بتأسيس Alico في دولة الإمارات. ومن مشروع واحد توسعت المسيرة إلى شبكة صناعية امتدت عبر عدة شركات وأسواق في المنطقة. In 1976, the journey began with the establishment of Alico in the UAE. What began as one venture developed into a broader regional industrial network.
هذه الخبرة سبقت دخوله عالم الطاقة المتجددة بعقود، وشكّلت الخلفية التي حملها معه عندما عاد بفكرته الصناعية إلى الأردن. Decades of industrial experience preceded his move into renewable energy and shaped the vision he later brought to Jordan.
في عام 2007 أسس Philadelphia Solar، واضعًا الرهان على أن يكون دور الشركة أكبر من استيراد التكنولوجيا: تصنيعها وتطويرها والمنافسة بها عالميًا. In 2007, he founded Philadelphia Solar with an ambition that went beyond importing technology: manufacture it, develop it and compete globally.
كان يرى في Philadelphia Solar استثمارًا في مستقبل الأجيال، وإرثًا لا تُقاس ثماره بالسنة الأولى، بل بما يبنيه للمستقبل. He saw Philadelphia Solar as an investment in future generations — a legacy whose value would be measured over years, not quarters.

بداية الرحلة الصناعية The industrial journey begins
تأسيس Alico في دولة الإمارات، ومن هناك انطلقت مسيرة صناعية توسعت لاحقًا عبر عدد من الشركات والأسواق في المنطقة. Alico was established in the UAE, beginning a wider industrial journey across companies and regional markets.
تأسيس Philadelphia Solar Philadelphia Solar is founded
نقل الرؤية الصناعية إلى الأردن وتأسيس منصة لتصنيع حلول الطاقة الشمسية بطموح إقليمي وعالمي. The industrial vision was brought to Jordan, establishing a solar manufacturing platform with regional and global ambitions.
البادية لتوليد الكهرباء Al-Badiah Electricity Generation
إنشاء شركة البادية لتوليد الكهرباء، التي أصبحت إحدى المنصات المهمة لمشاريع الطاقة الشمسية وتخزين الكهرباء في الأردن. Al-Badiah Electricity Generation was established as a platform for solar generation and energy-storage projects.
تشغيل المرحلة الأولى من البادية Al-Badiah Phase One
بدأت المرحلة الأولى التشغيل بقدرة تقارب 12 MWp، وبمكونات مصنّعة محليًا من Philadelphia Solar. Phase One entered operation at approximately 12 MWp, using locally manufactured Philadelphia Solar components.
مشاريع بمقياس أكبر Scaling utility projects
التوسع نحو مشاريع محطات شمسية واسعة النطاق، إلى جانب تطوير توسعة البادية وربط الطاقة الشمسية بأنظمة تخزين الكهرباء. Expansion into larger utility-scale projects alongside solar-plus-storage development.
الشمس والتخزين والجامعة الأردنية Solar, Storage & University of Jordan
توسعة البادية مع تخزين الطاقة، والمشاركة في مشروع الطاقة الشمسية للجامعة الأردنية، بما يعكس توسع الشركة من التصنيع إلى المشاريع المتكاملة. Al-Badiah expanded with energy storage, alongside participation in the University of Jordan solar project.
نمو صناعي واعتراف إقليمي Industrial Growth & Recognition
توسعت قدرات التصنيع إلى مئات الميغاواط سنويًا، بالتوازي مع تنامي حضور Philadelphia Solar في الأسواق الإقليمية والدولية. Manufacturing capacity expanded into hundreds of megawatts annually, alongside a growing international presence.
المسيرة تستمر The Journey Continues
رحل المؤسس، لكن المؤسسة التي وضع أسسها تستمر في العمل والتوسع، ويبقى اسمه جزءًا من تاريخها وهويتها. The founder passed on, yet the company built on his foundations continues forward, carrying his name within its history.

الخسارة التي كان يمكن أن تنهي المشروع… ولم تفعل. The loss that could have ended the venture — but did not.
بحسب القصة المنشورة في أرشيف الشركة، واجه مشروع Philadelphia Solar خسائر قُدّرت بنحو 20 مليون دينار خلال أول عامين. لكن القرار لم يكن الانسحاب. استمر الاستثمار في المصنع، والمنتج، والجودة، والاعتمادات، والأسواق. According to the company archive, the venture faced losses estimated at around JOD 20 million during its first two years. Instead of withdrawing, investment continued in manufacturing, quality, products and markets.
