On Wednesday, 26th Oct 2022, Philadelphia Solar and Al-Shams for Specialized Energy signed 135MWp EPC Contract in wheeling scheme connected to the H.V Grid of Jordan, and aims to deliver the Industrial Sector with 318GWh Yearly of clean energy through the photovoltaic Plant, It is expected to be operated in April-2024, this project is considered as the largest Wheeling Project in MENA Region.
This project is to provide electric power to factories at preferential prices, which will boost national industries in the local market and export markets.
This project is the first of its kind in Jordan and the region in terms of contributors, it has what makes it a role model for the institution in the future.
Implementation of the project will be carried out in Al-Maduna area, south of Amman, where the national transmission network will be connected with a voltage of 400 kV where Philadelphia will use Bifacial technology for the panels and a single tracking system.
