Philadelphia Solar has hit a new huge milestone in its history!

We are very glad to announce that the signing ceremony was held today for the 68 MW DC PV station (50 MW AC) Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) and Philadelphia Solar Company that will be installed in the south of Jordan.

This PV station will include more than 50% of local components using high efficiency Jordanian Philadelphia Solar panels, and the power plan for the station is expected to generate 150 MWh annually.

Under this agreement, Philadelphia Solar Company will design the system with Jordanian manpower, and all procedures of the PV station was approved from the MEMR’s energy consultant.

The Financial close is expected to be in Q3 2018, and the COD in Q2/Q3 2019.

The signing ceremony took place at Ministry of Energy and Mineral with the presence of his excellence Dr. Saleh Al Kharabsheh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, General Manager of Philadelphia Solar Mr. Abdulrahman Shehadeh, the General Manger of the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) Eng. Abd Al Fattah Al Daradkeh and a number of leaders of the sector.
