United Cable Industries Company (UCIC) (4.5 MWp)

United Cable Industries Company (UCIC) is the largest Roof Solar system in Jordan and the Middle East, installed on one flat of 4.5 MW to cover the entire consumption of the United Cable Company of electric power. It covers a connected area of about 34 thousand square meters.

The solar system was designed with Jordanian equipment and manpower; Jordanian components in the system exceeded 70%. The cables used were from the United Cable Industry Company. Two types of Philadelphia Magnelis steel-mounted structure were used in this project: tin roof and canopy.
